Magical Dream

I Hated...
I Hated watching people holding hands,
Walking while smiling like a child.
I Hated how they looked at each other with that smirk in their eyes.
I Hated...
Until I came across something magical.

I Hated,
how two people are so much in love that they don't care what others think about them .
I Hated,
how two people care so deeply about each other that one's eyes gets soaked with water when other's hand felt pain.

I Hated...
Until I came across something magical .

I Hated looking at couples,
I used to make fun of them.
I Hated seeing them so comfortable around each other.
I used to find it fake.

I Hated all of those lovely "LOVE" they talk about .
I Hated everything that stories and movies tried us to taught.
Because I always believed that it was not made for me.
Because I believed that there is no one in this world with whom I can share my smile,
With whom I can hold hands and walk through this life.

I still have these thoughts.
But that day I came across something magical.
That day ,
I felt that maybe it was not a dream that my heart was once trying to show.
Maybe it was true what the books had told.
Maybe LOVE really exists in the form of air that everyone is allowed to breathe.

But I still believe that these beautiful thoughts of mine will soon turn grey.
I don't want to, but there is no other way.
No matter how hard I try to run towards it,
My body will always freeze when something from the Dark move close to me and whisper slowly to stay away from that "Magical Dream".

A lost Dream

Today I met my Dream again. Dream that walked in my life when I was 8, Dream that left me when I was 18. Dream that gave me a cause to live this life. Dream that taught me how to fight. How can I forget it's glowing eyes, That leaded me in my aimless nights. How can I fail to recall it's firm hand, That held me when I was about to cry. My Dream. It had the same old smile as it had when I was a child. I still desired to grab it's body with both my hands. But it was too late. My Dream was walking to the woods of dark, While I was trapped in the cage of responsibility and Fate.                                                                                              - Swati Singh         ...
